Her bracelets, earrings, necklaces and pendants are crafted with a unique combination of materials, textures and hues.
Droplets of colors mixed with silver and gold foil, and pieces of cloth and silver embedded in resins, form a special and delicate blend that has become her trademark.
The sensitivity and plurality imbued in the artist’s creations can take shape in different levels and concepts, allowing for a wide variety of combinations and uses.
Her portfolio includes work done with, and for, renowned Brazilian fashion brands like Garimpo + Fuxique, Umma and Cavalera, and for fashion designers like Giselle Nasser.
Her understanding of the human body and the world of esthetics emerged from her physical education and fashion design studies in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
According to Vanessa, her accessories reflect “my affinity with the arts and my concept of the body framed by time, space and movement.”
Vanessa, who was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, lived in Madrid and Barcelona between 2004 and 2007.
In those two cities, she came in close contact with the different lines of European design which have influenced her work.
Vanessa currently works in her own atelier where she dedicates herself mainly to:
- Designing and creating new products;
- Designing exclusive lines for stores and brands;
- Personalized service for clients.
